Pass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers. It's aim is to improve your driving skills and make you a safer and better driver. The great thing about Pass Plus is that you will be entitled to some fantastic
discounts on your car insurance, that can far outweigh the cost of the
Pass Plus course.
The scheme has been designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), with the help of the motor insurance and driving instruction industries, to develop your skills and knowledge in areas where you may have
limited experience.
Pass Plus is a course of six modules:
- Town Driving
- All weather driving
- Out of town driving and rural roads
- Night driving
- Dual carriageways
- Motorways

When the course of lessons is successfully completed with TopGear, DSA will send you a Pass Plus Certificate to give to your chosen insurance company.
You will be safe in the knowledge that your driving has reached a higher level, giving you the confidence and freedom to enjoy your driving, with the added bonus of cheaper car insurance.
